A K10 with a frame-off restoration
Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this restored 1969 Chevrolet K10.
The listing advises that this K10 received a frame-off restoration 15-years ago. The red exterior is complemented by chrome bumpers, dual headlights, a polished aluminum grille, toolbox, and dual taillights with integrated reverse lights.
“The bench seat is upholstered in black vinyl with cloth inserts,” the listing states. “Features include black door panels and carpeting, a floor-mounted transfer case shifter, red interior sheet metal, manual windows, and power steering and brakes. Additional features include a tilt steering column, a 4-spoke Grant steering wheel, a red steel dashboard with a black vinyl top pad, an aftermarket Pioneer stereo head unit, and air conditioning.”
Under the hood is a GM Performance 350ci V8 crate engine with Edelbrock fuel injection, a serpentine accessory drive belt system, and tube headers. The engine is paired with a TH400 automatic transmission, NP205 transfer case, and 3.73 Positraction.
It rides on steel Rally wheels with chrome center caps, chrome trim rings, manual locking front hub locks, and new 35-inch Cooper tires. This K10 has a black powder-coated frame, and black underbody and suspension components.
